DOG-FRIENDLY
IN LITTLE ITALY
Open patio, water bowls at the door, treats behind the bar. Since forever.
San Diego is a dog town and Little Italy is a dog neighborhood — but most "dog-friendly" patios are an afterthought tucked behind a host stand. Waterfront is the opposite. The front of the bar is an open garage-door corner that spills onto Kettner Boulevard, with water bowls always at the door and bartenders who know most of the regulars' dogs by name.
Dog-friendly bar
Bring the dog any day, 8am to 2am. Daily happy hour 3–6pm. Real cocktails, cold drafts, no judgment if you stay through dinner.
Dog-friendly brunch
Saturday and Sunday brunch on the patio with your dog at your feet — breakfast burritos, country fried steak, bloody marys, and a quiet enough morning crowd that nobody's bothered. See the full brunch menu.
Dog-friendly patio in downtown San Diego
We're a five-minute walk from Waterfront Park, the Embarcadero, and the Amici Park dog run. Plenty of folks make us a stop on the morning or sunset walk. Hitch your leash, grab a stool, order a drink.
