RESTAURANTS NEAR
SEAPORT VILLAGE

A mile and a half up the Embarcadero, prices drop and the room gets older.

How far it actually is

Seaport Village sits at the south end of the Embarcadero. Waterfront Bar & Grill is about 1.5 miles north at 2044 Kettner Blvd — roughly 6 minutes by car or rideshare, or a flat 30-minute walk along the harbor past the Midway and the cruise terminal.

Why stop here before or after

  • Seaport Village is largely a daytime stop. We're open 8am to 2am.
  • The walk up the Embarcadero is the nicest mile downtown — do it one direction and ride back.
  • Full kitchen from breakfast through last call, so timing doesn't matter much.
  • No reservations, no dress code. Walk in off the harbor.

Eating at Seaport Village

The waterfront patios there are the reason to go — you're paying partly for the view of the bay and the Coronado Bridge, and that's a fair trade once. It gets crowded midday, especially when a ship is in. For a longer sit-down, or anything after the shops close, head north.

Still close to the water

The shoreline has moved over the decades, but Waterfront is still about a quarter mile from the bay. We were named for a waterfront that used to run a lot closer to the front door.
