What is the history of Waterfront Bar & Grill?

general

The bar was founded by Chaffee Grant, the grandson of Ulysses S. Grant, along with his partner, shipbuilder Claire Blakley. They were among the first to acquire a full liquor license after Prohibition ended, and the bottles have been poppin’ ever since. The Waterfront is currently owned by the 4th generation of the family. Two cousins named Chad Cline and Jason Nichols.
